Analyzing your Business

Analyzing your Business

business

In the previous chapter, we had discussed how important it is to understand the possibilities, the implications that come with taking your business online and to really know if you’re ready or not. We had established the fact that regardless of whether your answers were yes to all the 5 questions or no to some, you can indeed take your business online.

Now that you’ve decided you will be taking off, what’s the first thing you should do?

Well, check the title of the blog.

Each one of us knows the importance of analyzing our own business before judging someone else’s.

How do you know you’re prepared?

What is even the epitome of being all set?
If you have the following parameters in check, you’re good to go.

1. USP

We live in the times where there’s an alternative to everything. Tiktok got banned? Don’t worry, 500 more alternatives came up the second it got disqualified. Even something as established as Instagram came up with a new feature called Reels to stay in the game.

In this overcrowded competitive world, how will the audience reach you? What is making you stand out? Trust me, even one extra unique feature can act as an advantage over others and is enough to make you stick out.

Have you identified your USP yet?

Even if you think you have a USP, how are you so sure that none of your competitors have it at all? And that brings us to our next point.

2. Identify your competitors

The worst thing you could do is only identify the big brands as your competitors in confidence thinking there won’t be any other company emerging as we talk and giving you a neck and neck anytime soon.

Be it an established big brand or a 6 month old start-up, both have equal chances of beating you.

Let’s quickly understand how to identify your competitors.

  1. A quick Google search will go a long way. A Survey will also help. There are many other tools that are solely made for spying on your competitors, more on that later.
  2. Make a criteria. From their features to the tone of their messaging, everything you think is important should be included and segmented on your Sheet.
  3. Document it on Google spreadsheet so that you can share it with your teammates and access it anytime, anywhere.
  4. Interrogate your clients. “If I shut down, which brand will you immediately go for and why?”

With the help of Competitor Analysis, you will be able to easily figure out how you can be better than your competition. That means if your competitor provides X+1, you must provide X+1+2.

3. Plan

Once you’ve collected all of the above information, make a presentation. But you know what’s better than the same old, rather complex, PPT? We have made available a variety of Business Models that act as a template and are much better understood than a PPT.

You just have to choose from the models, download the best one you like and compile your information accordingly.

Just go to www.unleashyourbusiness.online/resources.

There is More!

Just like every other chapter, we’ve made a list of questionnaires that will help you in tracking your footsteps and how far you’ve come.
Answering those questions will give you a clear idea as to how to plan out your business model and strategies.
I have compiled all of it and more in my book, Unleash Your Business Online, a plethora of knowledge that is just waiting to be opened.

See you there!

Unleashing Your Business Online

Unleashing Your Business Online

business online

If you’ve followed our blogs and posts with a keen eye till now, you’ll know that we follow a step-by-step procedure for unleashing business online. And if you’re here by the means of that, congratulations! We’re almost at the end. You did well.

And for those who are visiting this site for the first time, I highly recommend you start this journey with us from the top.

Till now, we learnt how to set up a website, how to integrate it with social media and how to use different Marketing methods to grow your business organically. Today, we’re going to talk about the different ways, tools, and platforms with which we can place our ads successfully.

Let’s assume you’re selling my book. By now you’ll know that I target people like you – ambitious entrepreneurs who want to delve deep into the future of Business i.e. unabashedly Digital. So, where do you think I’ll meet people like you online? Will my target audience be busy posting memes on Instagram all day? Or perhaps, reading news on how the stock market is at its day’s high?

Maybe they’re googling something on the lines of, “digital business” as we talk

Before they know it, they’ll be in my sales funnel loop. All thanks to the paid ads I’ll be running along with SEO, that I’ll talk  about later, right after I address what needs to be said.

Please know that the little money you’ll be investing dreadfully in Marketing today is going to run for however long you want and give you returns worth millions someday. Start compounding instead of cribbing.

Now, let’s talk about the many tools we can use to deliver the best course of ads by continuing the example of selling my book.

Till now, we’ve established what our target audience looks like and guessed where we could find them.

Let’s say they’re active on Twitter and Amazon. What I typically do is, I post my ad a week before my actual plan starts. Yes, one week is enough to come to know the kind of ROI I’ll be drawing on this platform. Assuming I got more traction on Twitter, I’ll scale my ad spent there while reducing my costs on other platforms.

All this while, I’ll also be redirecting leads to my mailing list and letting my autoresponder take the mic from there.

How will autoresponder help increase my ROI?

Familiar with the concept of “tripwire”? I’m sure most of us have been a victim to this without evening understanding what it’s meant for.

Tripwire Marketing is the practice of offering your leads a low-cost product initially with the intention of selling them more expensive products at a later stage. When you buy a cost effective product from a company and give them your contact details in return, you’re more susceptible of buying from them later now that you’ll always be updated on what’s new in their business through mail and a few social media triggers here and there.

In my case, I’m clear about which platform I want my audience to go back to. My own website and Amazon. Any ads that I run from anywhere in the world of social media will redirect my audience to either of those two.

Some platforms/tools that you need to run your ads on are –

  1. Facebook Ads – With the help of Facebook Ads, I can run my ads on both Facebook as well as Instagram. Most of the crowd online have signed up on either of these, so it’s definitely worth a try.
  2. Quora – Short for Question and Answers, Quora is a popular platform where people ask and answer each other’s doubts. The best part about this platform is that it has its very own spot at the top of the search results, which gives you higher chances of appearing on the web without having to spend hours scrambling for strategies for SEO.
  3. Amazon Ads – May it be for book or groceries, Amazon is smart at placing your ads where it’s needed.
  4. LinkedIn – If you have an audience like me, who would rather spend their quality time scrolling through LinkedIn than accessing other addictive social media platforms all day, LinkedIn Ads are going to help you more than you can imagine.

When you think Long Term, you realize that there are so many possibilities around you, it’s as if somebody suddenly slid open the drapes that was obstructing the sunny future you were meant to witness.

If you wish to know the strategy I’ll be using to promote my book on multiple platforms, well, go ahead and give it a look. See you there!

How to begin your Business journey into Automation

How to begin your Business journey into Automation

business automation

Even now, numerous small companies use 100% manual, paper-based system to process claims. They’re the same people who think sales calls are effective and cash or cheque are the only ways to process transactions.

For such entrepreneurs, I have only one question – “How long will it take until you realize that you will have to adapt to Business Automation tools sooner or later?”

And my answer to any of your replies will follow with, “then why not sooner than later?”

You must understand that if you’re putting your money into something that’s helping you, it’s known as an investment and not an expense.

Technology is going to take over our world and Automation is going to be permanently etched into our future. What are you seriously waiting for?

If you need a little more convincing, let me tell you some benefits of incorporating automation tools into your business.

  1. Now, your employee can concentrate on more dynamic styles of work and be of a helping hand for things that really need human attention by letting business automated tools take care of their previously subjected monotonous work. This will, in turn, increase productivity in your company.
  2. Even the slightest of errors that have a possibility of occurring due to a human taking responsibility for it can be erased by business automated tools. Remember, machines never make mistakes.
  3. Your work can be done 10 times faster with a bot working for you.

Let’s venture into the “How”.

1. Pick the easiest to process first

Know that bringing about automation into your business is going to change the lifestyle of your business and workers forever. By incorporating the easy ones first, you’re buying time for you and your employees to process and adapt to the change, too.

For instance, you can start by automating your transaction process first, something that did not necessarily need human assistance majorly to begin with. You can add more tools into your business one by one.

2. Some Must-Have Business Automation Tools

The only problem with Automation is that ever since its discovery, a large number of tools have seen its inception, even the ones that are extremely impractical. Many Business Owners use them with much enthusiasm and excitement, only to get severely disappointed later.

Therefore, I thought it will be a good idea to jot down some must-have tools so that you can carefully choose what you need and not get lured by other attractive but pointless options.

  • Chatbots for smooth communication
  • Marketing & Sales Automation Tools like ActiveCampaign
  • Automated Email responses like Autoresponder
  • Automated Invoices
  • CRM Automation

3. Set Automation Targets

The reason why I advised using easy processes to begin with is so that we can calculate the ROI we get with that, accordingly. By setting a target for each individual automation tool, you will know what tools are working in your favor and which ones are better left in the discard bin.

It is advisable to do this at the earliest before your workforce gets used to this routine and are dependent on it. After experimenting and reviewing a couple more automated tools successfully, you can finally come up with a permanent plan that will include the chosen tools and perfectly blend with your overall business portfolio.

3 Must-Try Growth Hacks and Digital Marketing for Business to Increase Sales

3 Must-Try Growth Hacks and Digital Marketing for Business to Increase Sales

increase sales

Feeling stagnant? Wondering why you cannot increase sales?

If you have an amazing product to offer and a great potential in the market.

Don’t you feel it’s a little unfair that you’re not letting people see that?

If you’re expecting them to magically discover you in this online world where a billion of your other competitors reside, well, you will have to wait for a couple more decades.

Over the years, Marketing has earned the name of being expensive.

An intimidating world that is better left untouched.
I agree, back in the day when the Internet did not exist, the only way to advertise your offerings was through Billboards and TVs, the platforms that will easily cost you both your kidneys. Back then, Marketing was a privilege.

I can’t stress enough on how much the world has changed since then and why people should finally get it. Slowly everybody had access to the Internet. Platforms like YouTube and Facebook came to rule the Empire to increase sales.

And the most exciting of all, Marketing became accessible and affordable! That’s right! Digital Marketing has been a need-of-the-hour solution, and gravely adored by all.

So if you’re still entertaining the inhibitions that come with Digital Marketing for business only because it seems expensive, please bid them a sweet goodbye right about now.

Now, let’s explore the best options for you to be visible in your market and to be on top of your game to increase sales.

Create a Buzz through Email and Social Media Marketing

You know how movie trailers work, right? They are released with the intention of creating a hype around the world. Even big productions like Marvel and DC invest in trailers even though I’m sure the audience will go to watch their movies anyway.

But, creating a hype and watching people wait enthusiastically for your project to finally roll on the floor is an ethereal feeling in itself. Creating a hype definitely adds up to your profit. Why do you think non Superhero fans, too, wait in long lines to watch their movies?

Now, you don’t need to go overboard or spend thousands of dollars to achieve that. Simply invest in Email and Social Media Marketing well before your latest project releases.

These types of Digital Marketing for business never goes wrong. Email Marketing can be used to notify the users about your latest collection and portfolio.
Whereas, you can use social media to create content around your products.

Video Marketing

Now I know this is not the most affordable trick in the book but I’ve added it here for a reason.

Diode Digital recently found out that an online video is 600% more effective as a marketing tool than print and direct mail combined.

Let me ask you a simple question. If you had to choose between reading a 3 page long tutorial on making shaved ice and watching a 3 minute video on the same, what would you choose?
Videos are attractive, convenient, engaging and take lesser time to watch than to go through a static website.

Have you heard of the company Dollar Shave Club? It took one quirky video from them to change their lives forever. Who would have thought that a budget of $4500 on one video would make them a profit of $1 billion?

There are many video making styles that you can try. It can be as simple as a few graphics combined and a narration from the back that presents the idea of your offering in under 2 minutes.

Or it can be the usual commercial with an actual script, 2 cameras and 1 editing software, enough to make up the whole video.

Exclusivity

Long before Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram permanently became the face of Social Networking, Google Plus also showed tons of potential right when it started and was a success for a solid 2-3 years.

Apart from coming under a well known brand, why do you think people dissuaded from Facebook, the biggest platform at that time, to join Google Plus?

The most underrated growth hack at that time did the magic to increase sales!

Exclusivity is the style of showcasing your scheme in such a way to your target audience that it feels as though they’re exclusively invited to your platform. Pinterest, too, did this wonderfully.

Before it became a phenomenon that is known to the world today, it started small and at the banks of this growth hack to increase sales.

They specially invited one set of crowd so that they feel the need to flaunt, whereas the other set eventually got invited or signed up out of FOMO (fear of missing out). Now that’s the type of result that anybody would want to achieve, right?

How can Entrepreneurs use fresh Digital Strategies to Grow Business Online?

How can Entrepreneurs use fresh Digital Strategies to Grow Business Online?

grow business online

The inception of Internet has definitely changed the lives of many, especially the lives of business owners, now that they can finally advertise their offerings without having to sell both their kidneys for it to grow business online. You see, once upon a time, the larger-than-life traditional advertising was only meant for multi-national companies, for whom spending a few lakhs was nothing dreadful. Today, the once evident line between small and large businesses has blurred, thanks to Digitization.

As the Digital World keeps evolving, it’s hard to pick the right digital strategies for your business out of so many options spread out like a platter. Here are some effective Digital strategies that we think needs your attention –

Remarketing

Did you know that only 2% visitors buy goods on their first trip to a site? The rest 98% return for numerous reasons, “exploring more options” being one among them.

Unless you want to voluntarily lose the 98% for eternity, here’s what you can do –

With the help of website data & analytics, you can choose the particular users who showed interest in your page but didn’t take the required action and tag them as “site visitors”, so that the next time you advertise your content, you can choose to target them specifically for a recall ad. It’s effective because you’re targeting value-adding customers and not a complete new set of eyes that will take their own sweet time to get familiar with you. They’re already ahead in the customer lifecycle journey, which means it’s easier to convert them than to convert the rest of your target audience that don’t even know you yet resulting grow business online.

The only problem is, ever since this innovation set foot in the market, it has been used up like crazy. With a customer seeing so many retargeting ads, chances are they might not even notice you. Too many retargeting ads from a specific brand may even lead to a customer being extra careful to open their website the next time, knowing that they’ll be pestered with one too many ads later on if they don’t purchase the product. Therefore, be sure to not go overboard with it.

While choosing to show ads, you have an option for its duration

Typically, companies choose 30 days to retarget those prospects, which means they’ll consecutively see your ads for 30 days straight to grow business online. At this rate, you will even be able to see the fumes coming out of the prospects’ ears.

Another common mistake that companies make is that they target every human being who visited their website, even the ones who literally showed their existence for a minute. It’s a complete waste of time to target such visitors because the truth is, with only a minute to spare, they might have just not found your offerings interesting enough.

To conclude, retargeting will work wonders IF you’re unique and a little picky about it.

Gmail Ads

Throughout the Marketing evolutionary years, I’ve seen many people recommend Instagram, Facebook and Google ads, which is good but what intrigues me is that almost nobody I know has ever explored the possibility of Gmail Ads as a part of their online growth strategy.

Do you use Gmail daily? If so, how many times in a day do you check your inbox? The average answer for both will be yes and at the most twice daily. Of course, this also depends on the age group you or your target audience belongs to. If your audience belongs to the 21 to 50 y/o bracket, do give this a try!

This will work best with existing customers, who are used to seeing your ads on social handles and are a part of your mailing list.

The best part about Gmail Ads is that you have higher chances of converting your competitors’ customers because of their all new feature of “competitor keywords”. It’s pretty obvious that your competitors are updating their customers on mail and mentioning their brand terms whilst at it. By targeting those same terms/keywords, you can show up in their inboxes effortlessly and hopefully change their minds again beneficial for growing business online.

Affiliate Marketing & Reward System

An underrated gem is what I like to call this style of Marketing.

Affiliate Marketing was pretty famous when it first came out. Almost every company at that time jumped on this bandwagon.

Today, this strategy has sunk like a Titanic. It’s almost funny how conveniently marketers forget about the rave it created all around and to think that it’s not even considered in one Marketing campaign now is beyond me.

Affiliate Marketing is the old-school style of Lead Generation. It costs little to no money and is still as effective as ever. Let me quickly introduce you to this concept if you don’t already know.

Affiliate Marketing is a performance-based marketing, where a business rewards an affiliate for each customer it brings on board. Many health and beauty product-based companies like Amway and Modicare still use this style of Marketing but in their own unique way. Depending on your business, you can do the same by attaching more unique programs to it. For eg. This is, more or less, taken care off offline, but have you thought of building the same network online instead?

Let’s say you sell directly to consumers. You can experiment with something similar that goes by the name of “Reward System”, where the higher conversions your customers bring to the table, the greater their chances of winning a prize. Make sure the prize is worth the wait though.

Top Ideas for Business to go from Running Offline to Running from Anywhere

ideas for business

COVID forced us to rethink our old ways of running lives, including our regular ways of going about with profession. While some business owners had no option but to shut down their store/office, some were smart enough to adapt to the Digital World well in time before the new wave hit. But I’m not here to boost their egos. I’m here to let the first lot of Business Owners know that with each footfall, they can, too, tread seamlessly into the Future, which is unabashedly Digital ideas for business.

Why go Online, now more than ever?
Who knew 2020 would have us locked up in four walls with only a laptop as our savior? But we still managed, didn’t we? All thanks to the many innovations bestowed upon us one by one.

Moreover, due to the current scenario that sees no end and keeps prolonging, people have sought some kind of a comfort zone in it. Screening movies through OTT, online shopping, online business and work from home has unexpectedly become a habit, which frankly seems feasible, too.

Large companies like Facebook and Google are even reconsidering their way of work practices after the WFH success.
You never know, today you might be rolling your eyes at this but tomorrow, you may say the same.

How to run an Online Business?
Now that we’ve hopefully dispelled your early inhibitions, here are some ideas for business seeking to go online.

1. Connect to Cloud

Assuming you’re an offline business planning to digitize soon, the first and foremost step to take is to store or transfer all your existing data to Cloud.

Cloud computing lets you store and access data over the Internet as an alternative to the local server’s hard drive or paper-based method. Since it’s on the Internet, anybody from your management can access the data once given the permission. Even if you’re away from your office, data in the cloud will always stay up to date and can be available whenever, wherever and on multiple devices.

2. Outsource

Let me answer this with a simple example. Let’s say you have a small general store of your own with a few delivery boys working under you. One fine day, you get countless number of orders on phone and you’re worried sick because your morning was greeted with your employee calling in for a sick leave. What do you do? You probably request those customers to visit your shop even though you secretly know that you’ve lost all the orders and are mentally cursing your luck.

But what if I tell you that you have the option to outsource most of your work? Outsourcing, in simple terms, is procuring help from outside sources, so that you don’t have to go through another set of nausea whenever your employee doesn’t turn up.

Outsourcing functions like HR, Marketing, IT services, Shipping, etc. will take the extra load off your shoulders effortlessly so that you can solely focus on the core aspects of your online business.

3. Invest in the right tools

There’s a popular saying that goes, “once you’re in the online world, there’s no going back.”
Okay, maybe I made that up but let me prove you why it’s 100% correct regardless.

Only a few days after the lockdown, Zoom was updated, Google Meet incepted, and so many more innovations set foot in the market immediately. That’s how the Digital World works! This is what we call ideas for business

With the convenience of working from anywhere and at anytime, you are also pampered with so many tools, techniques and innovations that are only available in this world.

Some helpful tools for your online business that you must invest in right away are –

  1. CRM Software
  2. Payment gateway systems
  3. Autoresponder
  4. Video conference application
  5. Team management application

Now, I believe there’s no stopping you! Good luck!

3 Practical Tips for Entrepreneurs who wish to Increase Sales and Grow Business by Multifold

3 Practical Tips for Entrepreneurs who wish to Increase Sales and Grow Business by Multifold

increase business sales

For you to find a solution to literally anything, you need to first dissect the root problem to identify the problem that exactly what is stopping the increase business sales. Sounds simple but it really isn’t. You see, problems double in size if you don’t tackle it in the first round itself. It’s like that villain in your favorite video game.

In this case, ask yourself– What aspects are limiting me to grow my business exponentially?

Some common problems that business owners, especially small business players, face are –

  1. Capital Issues
  2. Inability to hire experienced Marketers
  3. Therefore, difficulty in attracting new customers
  4. and increasing sales
  5. Lack of Brand Equity

If you look closely, you’ll understand that this is indeed a vicious cycle. Lack of capital can lead to many problems and once you’re trapped in it, it’s hard to find the exit.
But then there also comes a few hacks that, once integrated into your plan, can help you dodge this cycle from a mile away. The good news is that there’s an alternative to everything! You don’t always need a hefty budget to create a masterpiece.
Keeping the zest intact, let’s quickly run through some practical tips to grow your business by multifold without incurring multifold of costs.

1. Offer Excellent Customer Service

So what if you don’t have a budget with three 0’s at the back to conclude it as a successful campaign? If you’re falling short on something, you can always make up for it by incorporating other alternatives. In this case, customer service!
One of the topmost priority of businesses is to make a loyal base of our own. What better way to do that than to engage with your customers as and when they need you? And even going out of your way to make their buying experience better?
Customer service also gives your brand that human touch, which instantly makes your company look more familiar in the eyes of your audience which is helpful to increase in business sales.

2. Participate in Viral Marketing

The first and foremost step to attracting your customers is to be where they are. Lucky for you, social media has successfully grasped the attention of the entire human race, hence making it easier to find them since they’re all a part of the grand Digital world now.
Think like your customer. Knowing them, which online platform do you think they’ll frequent the most? It can be Instagram or even Quora.
Once you know that right, start making content on topics that will interest them. You must understand that social media marketing is very different from traditional marketing like TV and print ads. On social media, your sole focus should not be to promote your product or brand but to engage and interact with your audience. For instance, let’s assume you’re a condom brand. Rather than promoting your product everywhere, start investing your time in researching and writing content on, let’s say, Sex Education, a subject that revolves around your product’s identity but does not directly promote your product.
In this case, your goal must be to gather a fan base rather than selling your products. Eventually, both will help increase sales anyway.
Other than this, start participating in topical marketing. Creating topical content is to create content that links to a current news story or something relevant at the moment.
Again, think like a customer. If I were in their boots, would I have shared this piece of content?
Yes? Then go ahead!

3. Testimonials are effective

We live in the times where even bread as a product has 100 different alternatives to choose from. Of course, every brand will go out of their way each time to tell you why their product is the best among the rest. Customers are often cornered into a tough spot and instantly develop (what millennials like to call) trust issues! These are the best factors to increase business sales
In such a scenario, customers seek solace in other customers since they assume they’ll know their situation the best.
The simplest way to put this – Testimonials are important. Always encourage it! A review box on your home page or even better, a testimonial video that welcomes the user as soon as they click on the home page will work wonders.

3 Digital Techniques for Business Automation that every Business Owner must use

3 Digital Techniques for Business Automation that every Business Owner must use!

business digital automation

Business Automation may seem overwhelming to think about in the beginning but it offers way too many benefits than worries, and that’s a fact.

Regardless of whether you agree with this or not, Automation is the future. Therefore, more businesses around the world are adopting automation into their strategy for good.

If you are one to try your hand at it, following are some digital techniques that will help you automate your business seamlessly and will benefit you in more ways than you can imagine.

Customer Service

What is a business without their customers? To ensure that the entire customer lifecycle of a consumer is smooth and consistent is a business owner’s responsibility.

By bringing business automation into the picture, customer interaction will be handled by a bot. Customer enquiries will be answered in a jiffy. Your customers wouldn’t have to make a call and spend an hour to report one complaint.

In this Digital world, it takes 2 minutes for a company’s hard-earned reputation to tarnish. A couple of negative reviews are enough to affect your sales for 2+ years.

It’s especially difficult to focus on after-services when there are so many other significant things that require your attention. Keeping extra staff just for this is expensive and honestly, not required.

Automating customer services like interaction, for instance, is an easy way to deliver solutions to your audience while keeping your staff busy with other things that require human attention.

Inbound Marketing

Gone are the days when cold calls, direct mails, door-to-door marketing was a thing. Buyers, now, are more knowledgeable and empowered, they like to make their own decisions and don’t easily budge from it. It’s safe to assume that Outbound Marketing isn’t as successful as it was then. Moreover, statistics prove that about 50 percent of the people targeted through outbound are not even a good fit for your product.

Inbound marketing, on the other hand, markets directly to your target audience so you’re not wasting your time and budget by knocking on the wrong door, both metaphorically and literally.

Inbound marketing is one such digital technique that is meant to target today’s empowered buyers and considers each stage of their buyer’s journey, hence proving how effective it is.

If you’ve shopped from Amazon, you’ll notice a somewhat new addition on their page. Every time you click and visit the product page that interests you, you see a rectangular box at the bottom that includes 2 or 3 other items that are normally bought with the product you’re interested in. This recommendation box is possible, all thanks to this very Digital Technique. And you know the best part? It has been received very well and is only benefitting the company since then.

Transaction Process

Flawless consumer experience is incomplete without a seamless transaction process involved at the end. It’s like watching a really impressive movie with a pathetic ending that ruins the whole experience.

Think about it. As you proceed for the check out after shopping for almost an hour, you are welcomed with bugs and errors. I’m sure you’ll not consider giving that website/app a second chance after such a “pleasant” encounter.

Automated transaction makes everybody’s lives easier. Your customers, clients, employees, everybody will be benefited and jolly about it.

Once the correct information is in check, business automation tools make sure they get stored, printed, and sent to the correct individual. Since the process is repetitive, giving up the work to machines will be better than doing it manually, hereby giving you or your employees more time to concentrate on other important things.

Is it possible for business owners to use Digital Marketing to grow their Brand Online?

Is it possible for business owners to use Digital Marketing to grow their Brand Online?

Digital Marketing

At a distance, Digital Marketing looks like a complex subject that is better left untouched. But the world also knows the reaps it offers at a nominal cost. At some point, you’re confused. “Is Digital Marketing worth it to grow business?” And for people like you, there’s me, telling you exactly why Digital Marketing is an unforgettable journey that is sure to lead your path to success.

Nowadays, having a website is not enough. Website is, no doubt, a great way of showing the world what you are, what you offer and why they should root for you. Simply put, it’s a modern-day business card. But how will the world come across your business card when you’re not even making the efforts of distributing them? Unless you’re a well-known brand, you cannot expect people to randomly search your name on Google and wait for you to woo them. You have to make efforts to stay in their minds and become a part of their lives. And those efforts are known as Digital Marketing! Let’s see how Digital Marketing can help you –

1. Global Reach

“The world has become a global village.”

There are no borders in the Digital World. A start-up located in a small town in Gujarat can target a city as big as Tokyo in the realms of Japan. In the online world, anything is possible.

Online marketing allows ad campaigns to be visible everywhere in the world. Small start-ups are at luck as it gives them the rare opportunity to go global without having to be a multi-million dollar company with a more than hefty budget to create offices in areas worldwide.

If you are an ambitious, growth-oriented leader, the path online is the way to go!

2. Measurable Results

There was a time when you would have to make ads without keeping any expectations on how well it will be received by the audience. No doubt, a lot of progress came thereafter, in the Traditional Ad World but it still failed to give marketers solid results, to a point where they had to wait for weeks or months together to get in touch with numbers and statistics for one ad campaign. Stressing on “one”.

Measuring results is important. You’ll know where you’re going wrong and in contrast, what strategies are working, and accordingly make a comeback with a bang.

With Online Marketing, you can measure results almost immediately, even simultaneously as the ad is performing.

Email marketing software allows marketers to track how many emails were delivered, how many read or ignored, and study the conversion rates. Google Analytics, on the other hand, lets you choose specific goals for your website and blogs and then monitors its effectiveness. You can know how many people viewed your ads, how they came across your ads, what made them convert, etc. Need I say more?

3. Segmentation

Segmentation is the act of breaking down large groups of the audience into smaller ones according to unique classifications. It can be based on gender, social class or even behavioral patterns. Digital Marketing to Grow Businesses

For instance, a brand that sells menstrual hygiene products has women as its main target. A TV advertisement targets households regardless of whether or not a woman is watching it. Same goes with newspapers or billboards.

Digital ad campaigns can choose to target only and only women on digital platforms, resulting in focused marketing and little to no waste of money.

4. Low cost

Oftentimes, Marketing is seen as a liability by companies because of the large number of costs it involves. You see, Traditional Marketing involved paying every creator to a middleman to distributor involved in displaying your ad on TV. A feature on the Billboard was no less than seven trailing 0’s. And an appearance in cinema theatres… something that no small to the medium-sized company could ever dream of.

Online marketing is a savior for all sorts of companies as it incurs only a few bucks depending on your budget and you can measure its ROMI too, for future reference.

Business Growth Hacks

Want to market your Business but don’t have as much money as your competitors to invest? Every problem has a solution, including this. Scroll down for business growth hacks!

Pay Per Click (PPC) ads and Social Media Marketing is slowly becoming the blast from the bygone now that a humongous amount of business growth hacks and techniques have mounted the frame.

Business growth hacks, in essence, are used for short-term marketing goals with the aim to grow your business. It involves experimenting with different marketing tactics, ad strategies, web design, etc. They often incur little to almost no cost.

Here are some incredible business growth hacks you can incorporate into your business that need no hefty costs.

1. Partnership

Partnership as is a very different form of marketing compared to the common and regular marketing strategies that are bound to cost cutting and long term advisory. Partnerships are powerful as it’s a two-way relationship, where you get the chance to influence not one, but many areas of businesses.

Fun Fact – PayPal wouldn’t have been what it is now if it wasn’t for their life-changing decision to partner up with one particular company. eBay! Ever since eBay made PayPal its most preferred payment platform, its business growth skyrocketed.

You don’t have to be in the same field as the company of your choice to partner up with them. Uber x Spotify’s success is another such partnership that earned its name down history.

2. Exclusivity

Today, Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat may be the most popular social media platforms worldwide but do you remember the day when Orkut was a thing, Omegle was cool and Google+ had almost replaced Facebook?

Google+ may not be the most successful network now, in fact, even when it first came out, it didn’t see the engagement that was they had expected for a known label. It is one little growth hack that they implemented that made them the next big thing of yesterday.

Instead of marketing endlessly and inviting anybody and everybody on their platform, they chose Reverse Psychology. Google started offering accounts to only a select few. An invite only basis.

Let me tell you, we live in an era where FOMO and Flexing are the only emotions known to the mankind. They knew that and made the most of it, thus being a success. But as I said, these hacks are used for the short term as business growth is a process. It takes time and you cannot use the same funda over and over again. Nonetheless, this strategy is applaud worthy and not to mention, gutsy.

3. Gamification

Gamification is basically the usage of points and rankings to trigger customer behavior. It’s the oldest and the most prevalent trick in the book and works wonders.

Points hold power in more ways than you know. You see, humans, from the very beginning, have been conditioned to stay in this invisible competition keeping their heads down. So what do Smart Marketers do? They see an opportunity and accordingly take advantage!

Gamification is a gaming technique that gives your customer a feeling of achievement and in turn, makes them loyal. It’s a great strategy to use when you’re looking to build a strong base wherein you want to turn mere visitors or infrequent customers to loyal and dedicated ones.
